All our Antique Iron Products are submitted to a five-stage Hand Finishing Process. For authenticity, we do not lacquer any of our products, however all are lovingly waxed by hand in the factory in the Yorkshire Wolds. This is a maintenance wax, and serves as a basic protection to moisture.

Our Antique Iron products may show light surface rust if exposed to damp environments. If necessary, this can be easily removed by using light oil (such as WD40) and a fine grade wire wool. Many of our Iron products will age naturally and develop their own patina over time. Should any products arrive with a residue of wax, a wipe over with a cloth is advised.

    Will go great in my kitchen

    Quite authentic and so pretty

    It's a pretty piece that's a treat to look at. Unfortunately, this is nowhere near wide enough to accommodate a paper towel roll in America. Not sure what I'll be doing with it now, but it's original purpose is impossible

    Der Rollenhalterbist sehr schön und sie genau so aus, wie erwartet. Sehr schöner „british Cottage“-Look. Der einzige, kleine Nachteil: deutsche Standard-Küchenrollen, die zwischen 23 und 26 cm breit sin, passen schlicht nicht auf die Stange. Das Problem haben wir uns aber selber zuzuschreiben, die Maße sind ja angegeben und wir haben es einfach übersehen. Aus dem nächsten Britanien-Urlaub werden also ein paar Großpackungen mitgebracht. Trotzdem gibt es für das Produkt 5 Sterne.
